Cast Your Birth Chart
Your sun sign is just one puzzle piece in a multilayered birth, or natal, chart, which denotes which signs all the celestial bodies—the moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and even outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto—were in when a person was born. In other words, you can use your chart to learn your moon sign, Mercury sign, rising sign, et al.
To calculate an astrological natal, or birth, chart, you’ll need your (or your baby’s): birth month, date, and year; time of birth; place of birth including city, state or province, and country. This integral info can generally be found on a long-form birth certificate. (If you don’t have this readily available, it can be requested from the county where you or your child was born.)
